Therese and I will be there in our gorgeous new hoodies selling all our products. If you have a free Sunday pop over to Brick lane and visit us- who knows you may find one or two Christmas presents ( not forgetting a few presents for yourself too!!)

Updates
Hello everyone,
Sorry that we haven't been in touch for a while. We've been very busy trying to get our website together, stock ordered and a ltd company set up.
We're now almost there. We applied for our company, Lulu and Tess Ltd to be incorporated at companies house and hopefully this will be done by tomorrow afternoon and we're super excited.
Lucy also made us a website through wix.com and we hope to move our domain over to wix in the next few days so that you can check www.luluandtess.co.uk out. So far we're very happy with the site and amazed how quickly you can create both a site and a webshop.
Our first stock should arrive this week, we've chosen a supplier who's very environmentally conscious and all the card stock is 100% recyclable and they use the most eco friendly inks for printing. We've also sourced 100% recycled envelopes and cornstarch bio-degradable bags for packing.
We also need to get packaging ordered since we're now going to have a webshop. Hopefully we will be able to find something equally suitable for the environment.
Once the website is live I will post a link for you and we hope that you would like to give us some feedback.

Photo shoot - first edition
After looking at lots of different websites for inspiration we have had our first product shoot and I wanted to share one of our favourite image with you here on our blog.
We headed out after work yesterday evening and took lots of pictures of our first edition post cards outside in our neighbour hood so if you’re a Brook green local you might recognise your surroundings.
We continued the work today and we have now taken pictures of all the cards that we have in stock and we will have to do a computer image of the rest.
We’re so happy and excited and can’t wait for the website to be finished so that we can show you all our hard work and get your feedback.

Website
Today has been a very exciting day as we started work on our website. Andrezej at ADP design (http://www.adp-web-design.com/) is going to design and build it for us and if we continue in the same pace we will have a website in no time. Keep checking in to find out more.

Bespoke work
Another side of our business that we want to explore is bespoke graphic design work and we already have some clients.
Our friends at Brolim Estate management are also just starting their own business and we are designing their first leaflet and we did some touch-up on their logo. We’re very happy with the result and wish them the best of luck. Once the final re-touches are done we hope to post an image here.
We’re also designing a price list for Tsarina Beauty and a logo for a dear friend who’s a theatre set technician and designer. More to come on this.
If you need any graphic design work done we would be very happy to hear from you. We can design almost anything from your logo to your stationary and leaflets.
First trade customer
During the same trip to Winchester we decided to pop into Cornflowers (http://www.winchestercollege.org/cornflowers, a lovely gift shop on Collage Street to ask if they would be interested in stocking our cards. We where slightly disappointed when the manager wasn’t in but we kept our hopes up and Lucy’s mum kindly went back and meet with the shop manager a few days later. We’re so happy and proud to say that Cornflowers is our first and so far our only trade customer and we can’t wait to go down and have a look for ourselves. If you live in or are visiting Winchester, please do pop in and have a look for yourselves and drop us a line to say what you think.
10 July 2011 - An idea is born
So it all started a not so sunny morning on a train from London to Winchester. Me and Lucy has been speaking about our dream of starting up our own business for some time and as our train rolled out of London we decided that instead of just talking about it we should set up and just go for it!
We are both creative and Lucy has been designing her cards for a while so we thought that this would be our ideal starting point. Our hopes are that we can grow our business to be an online portal for not just our own designs but also for other emerging designers and artist.
We both work full time, Lucy in an estate agency and me in a wholesale company but we both have creative degrees. Lucy studied book arts and design at London collage of communication and I studied fashion and textile design at IED in Milan.
In our blog we would like to share with you this new journey we’re taking and also some of our designs and inspirations.
